3 Things To Do Every Morning for A Successful Day
Wake up before everyone else.

If your days seem frantic, here are some tips to start your day off on the right track:
1. Wake Up Before Everyone Else
If the first thing you do every morning when the alarm sounds is jump up and wake the kids up and start your day in a panic, you aren’t doing yourself any favors of setting yourself up for the day. If you give yourself some time to wake up and make better decisions, you are better able to serve your own needs and those of your family or anyone else you’re responsible for.
Instead of starting your day off frantic and panicked, start it off slowly:
Drink a cup of water
Make some coffee or tea
Read something you enjoy or something that will stimulate your mind
Review your calendar for the day
Have a good stretch
Want to prioritize sleep but still need some YOU time in the morning? Waking up even 15 minutes earlier than you do currently can greatly improve your feelings of having your life together.
I heard about this concept of waking up earlier than my family in 2018, and it has been a game changer.
2. Meditation/Prayer Time
Adding a little time to your morning routine to ground yourself in your spiritual practice is going to help you feel much more in control of your life. Whether you have an established religious practice, you want to start a meditation practice, or you’re an experiences spiritual guru, taking even 5 minutes to check in with yourself will help you feel more connected throughout the day.
Meditation has been known to:
reduce stress
Control anxiety
Promote emotional health
Enhance self awareness
Lengthen attention span
May reduce age-related memory loss
Can generate kindness
Help fight addictions
Improve sleep
Help control pain
Reduce blood pressure
Meditation is also something you can do anywhere (Be smart - don’t meditate while you’re driving), and you can start seeing the above benefits with only a few minutes of meditation daily. Aim for 5 minutes to start and work your way up from there. Need some help getting started? There are some great apps, like Headspace and Calm to name a few, that make meditation so easy to start. You can even find easy and FREE guided meditations on YouTube.

3. What’s for Dinner?
Look out for your future self by deciding early what’s for dinner. One of the best ways to self sabotage your afternoon and evening is hitting a point of decision fatigue and then still having to figure out what’s for dinner. If you make it a priority to have this already planned, you won’t hit that dinnertime brick wall at 5pm where you’re exhausted but still need to decide on and make dinner.
If meal planning is overwhelmingly causing you stress, there is a better way!
